So You Think You Can 'Irish' Dance?

I really love to watch the show, So You Think You Can Dance. It’s an amazing opportunity for all types of dancers to get on stage in front of millions of people and compete for the title, “America’s Favorite Dancer”. Being an Irish dancer myself I always love when an Irish dancer auditions for the judges. Most the time, however the world of Irish dance has not been properly represented on the show. Most the dancers are not properly trained, and if they are, they don’t have the ability to perform any other style of dance.

In season 8 of the show, however, a new Irish dancer took the stage. Until now, no Irish dancer has ever made it past the first auditions, but I believe this girl has a chance. She ranks among the top Irish dance champions in the world and performed a very strong audition. The judges loved her, and I really hope she has what it takes to go all the way!
